Discover the historical and natural soul of Tenerife. Unlike the arid and touristy south, the northeast is green, lush, volcanic, and full of contrasts—a route that perfectly blends colonial character with the island's wildest nature.
Stroll through the cobblestone streets of La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the island's ancient capital, now a vibrant university city. Don’t miss its flower-filled Canarian courtyards, traditional colonial architecture, and a visit to the authentic local market.
Next, we head to Santa Cruz, the island's capital, for a panoramic bus tour. Our expert local guide will share fascinating insights into Tenerife’s culture and history as we admire the scenery of Las Teresitas Beach and stop at the most breathtaking viewpoints along our route.
Lunch is served in Taganana, one of the most secluded and authentic villages on the island, nestled deep within Anaga. Here, you will taste a variety of traditional Canarian dishes, including the famous papas arrugás (wrinkled potatoes) with mojo sauce.
We will also take a walk through the Anaga Rural Park, a Biosphere Reserve home to the ancient Laurisilva cloud forest, the Jardina viewpoint (with stunning views over La Laguna), and the enchanting "Path of the Senses."
Our adventure concludes at the Casa del Vino (House of Wine), where you will enjoy a curated tasting of the island's finest wines.
