The excursion to Gibraltar begins in Seville, where your guide will pick you up at one of our meeting points to start a unique adventure between Spain and the United Kingdom, right at the natural border between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. During the approximately two-hour journey, you will travel through much of the province of Cádiz, enjoying its fabulous cork oak forests and the picturesque White Villages ( Pueblos Blancos ) that characterize this region.
Once in Gibraltar and after crossing the border, you will begin a comprehensive panoramic visit known as the Rock Tour. You will enter the Gibraltar Nature Reserve, making your first stop at the Pillars of Hercules viewpoint. From this iconic spot, located at the legendary "Europa Point," you can take in stunning views of the Strait and spot the African coastline. The panoramic vistas from the Rock of Gibraltar, with both the Spanish and Moroccan coasts in sight, are simply unforgettable.
The tour continues as you venture into the incredible St. Michael’s Cave, a fascinating grotto filled with geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites. Later, you will experience a unique moment meeting the famous Gibraltar macaques—the only wild monkeys in all of Europe and the stars of the well-known legend which claims that the British will not leave the colony as long as the monkeys remain there.
After the tour, you will have free time for lunch or to explore the city's bustling pedestrian streets. Very close to the famous Main Street, you will find the lively shopping area, perfect for enjoying duty-free shopping in Gibraltar. It is renowned for excellent prices on jewellery, watches, electronics, spirits, cosmetics, and perfumes, as well as numerous cafés and bars perfect for a break.
Once the visit and free time have concluded, your guide will accompany you back to the transport for the return journey to Seville, arriving at approximately 7:00 PM after having enjoyed a magnificent day discovering "The Rock" and its unique blend of Andalusian and British atmosphere.
