The Casa Olivar, located in the emblematic Plaça de la Catedral in Ciutadella, right in front of the entrance has a spectacular and perfectly symmetrical facade, with a grand entrance.
Unlike the Torre Saura County Palace, located in the same block, it stands out, without a doubt, for preserving one of Menorca's artistic and historical private heritages for over 400 years. Unique mural paintings of French influence are one of the most valuable artistic elements of the palace.
The old dining room stands out, with two valuable Italian marble tables, the clock room containing richly carved Chippendale seating and an English Logmann piano-organ. The mirror room with Louis XV seating; the grand hall with an important painting of the Visitation of the Virgin to Saint Elizabeth, and family portraits among which stand out those of the Paborde Marc Martí and the knight traveler, Bernat Josep d'Olivar.
