A visit to the Martín Berdugo estate will give you a privileged insight into how wines are grown, nurtured, and produced in one of Spain's most well-known wine regions. At Martín Berdugo - Single Vineyard Estate, we are fortunate to have the winery within our vineyard. This proximity allows us to care for the vines in detail and oversee the balance of the natural environment that surrounds them.
When visiting our winery, you will witness how our principles of minimal intervention influence everything, from the soils that nourish our vines to the smallest details of wine production. We strive to protect the environment and all its wildlife in a state of natural balance. Your journey will take you through the different alluvial soils that make up our unique vineyard, and you will learn how the grapes, once harvested, make their way to the winery. Once there, we will guide you through the process that turns them into the different styles that have brought worldwide fame to the Ribera del Duero region. Inside our production room, gravity technology is used to be as minimally intrusive as possible and preserve the fruit. In our barrel room, you will experience the tranquil and restful atmosphere that helps mature the wine. Finally, you will be able to taste our wines in a guided tasting led by one of our team members.
Our guided tour is conducted only in Spanish, lasts an hour and a half, and includes a tasting of 2 wines accompanied by traditional local cheeses and breadsticks. A vegan option is available upon request in advance. For guests under 18, we offer grape juice, water, or soft drinks.
