Feel the thrill of driving an agile and fun 2-seater buggy on a mixed route combining scenic backroads with exciting dirt tracks. This 3-hour excursion takes you away from crowded resorts to lead you from sea level up to the summit of Lanzarote, revealing the island's wilder side.
This 3-hour tour is an extended version of our 2-hour route. Designed for a more relaxed pace, it gives you extra time at key photo stops and includes additional sections to fully enjoy the landscape without feeling rushed.
The adventure begins in Costa Teguise (with optional pickup from your accommodation), where we will provide protective goggles and a windbreaker. Once ready, we will head north through picturesque villages like Guatiza and Mala, driving past their old quarries and dam area—a unique arid landscape dotted with cacti.
We will continue ascending to reach the highest point on the island at Peñas del Chache and the Las Nieves Viewpoint (at over 600 meters in altitude). Here, we will stop to enjoy unrivaled panoramic views of the volcanic surroundings.
The descent winds through the villages of Teseguite and El Mojón. After discovering local cultural landmarks such as the historic lime kilns in Teguise, we will wrap up the route with an enjoyable off-road section before returning to base.
