Discover Lanzarote in a single day, traveling from south to north, where the island's stunning volcanic nature merges seamlessly with its charming rural villages and landscapes. We will visit two of the most iconic Art and Tourism Centers created by the brilliant César Manrique: El Diablo Restaurant and Jameos del Agua.
Our route begins by heading down to El Golfo, a charming coastal village where we'll visit the iconic Green Lake (Charco de los Clicos), located inside a volcanic crater partially submerged in the sea, right on the coastline.
Next, we'll enter Timanfaya National Park, a volcanic landscape unique in the world. For about 40 minutes, we'll take a bus tour along the "Route of the Volcanoes," a lunar landscape of impossible shapes and colors, observing its volcanoes, craters, and solidified lava rivers. At Islote de Hilario, you'll witness the impressive power of nature through geothermal experiments that demonstrate the heat still emanating from the ground.
We will then stop at the Echadero de Camellos, a place that pays tribute to these animals, where you can take an optional camel ride through the volcanic hillsides (not included in the price).
We'll make a long stop in the village of Mancha Blanca, next to the Church of Los Dolores (patron saint of Lanzarote), to recharge and have lunch (not included). We then continue with a magnificent panoramic bus route through Haría and its "Valley of a Thousand Palms," and the area around the Corona Volcano in the north, the greenest and least populated part of the island.
Finally, we will visit Jameos del Agua, an exceptional creation by César Manrique, built inside a partially collapsed volcanic tube. This is a place that unites nature, architecture, sculpture, gardening, beauty, art, and culture... a must-see visit if you are in Lanzarote.
