Snowshoes are devices that attach to your boots, allowing for faster and more comfortable travel over snowy or icy terrain, widely used in winter hiking and mountaineering.
Have you ever imagined how the mountains transform when night falls? Discover a new dimension of the Pyrenees on this exclusive private outing for you and your group. Far from being pitch black, the snow acts as a natural mirror under the full moon, creating a silvery atmosphere and a silence of breathtaking beauty.
We will meet in Canfranc to transfer to the outskirts of Candanchú Station, our usual starting point. This is a low-difficulty itinerary suitable for everyone (children aged 8 and up). We will walk at a leisurely pace towards the French border to access one of the area's true treasures: a spectacular beech forest. While beautiful by day, exploring this ancient forest at night—amidst the interplay of light and shadow over the white mantle—is an experience that borders on the magical.
No previous experience is required. Throughout the two-hour journey, you will rely on the company and safety of our certified professional local guides (High and Mid-Mountain Sports Technicians). They will teach you how to move with snowshoes while you safely enjoy this pristine natural environment.
Forget the world for a few hours and surrender to the influence of the moon. We propose a surprising lunar experience, an intimate adventure where the snow and silver light transform the mountain into a dreamlike setting, perfect for connecting with nature in winter.
