The Vereda de la Estrella is Granada's most beautiful trail. It’s more than just a lovely walk; it’s the epic sensation of traveling through time, tracing mining history while walking among chestnuts, ash, oaks, and maple trees.
We will meet at the Güéjar Sierra Sports Center (Polideportivo), our gateway to the National Park, entering where the Genil and San Juan rivers converge. Along the way, the trail unveils unusual greenery, and of course, we will visit the impressive Centenary Chestnut, "El Abuelo" (The Grandfather). You will enjoy the valley's best viewpoints, with ample time to rest, celebrate, and admire these simply unmatched landscapes, venturing far enough into the valley to absorb its full beauty without the strenuous effort of the full route.
We will cover 15 kilometers on a medium-low difficulty trail, with a total duration of 8 hours round trip. Its positive elevation gain of only +450 meters makes it ideal for regular hikers seeking a complete immersion without a major athletic challenge. We set out in small groups of a maximum of 12 people to ensure safety and a personalized experience.
