Discover the great green heart of Gran Canaria, an island known as a "miniature continent" for the striking contrasts of its habitats and landscapes.
Departing from the tourist areas in the south of the island, we travel along the coast until we reach our first destination, Arucas, where we'll visit its Neo-Gothic church. The journey continues to the historic and traditional village of Teror, a place of pilgrimage and great interest for visitors. Here, we'll tour the Basílica de la Virgen del Pino and stroll through the village, famous for its traditional balconies.
Living up to its name, "The Summits of Gran Canaria," a visit to Tejeda is a must. At the Roque Nublo viewpoint, we'll have a privileged view of this Natural Monument, as well as Roque Bentayga and, on clear days, even Mount Teide.
The descent offers spectacular scenery, passing through Ayacata and the Mirador de la Degollada. The route culminates in the Fataga valley, a stunning setting known as the "valley of a thousand palm trees," where we'll visit a traditional aloe vera plantation to learn about the properties of this magnificent local product.
