Board the bus and relax as we travel from the south of Gran Canaria to the vibrant city of Las Palmas. During our visit, you will experience the distinctly urban contrast of the capital paired with the peacefulness of its surroundings, visiting two natural landmarks of the island.
We will begin the day immersing ourselves in the historic atmosphere of the old town, exploring the whitewashed streets and colonial corners of the Vegueta neighborhood alongside our guide. You will discover the architecture and history of Santa Ana Square and admire the iconic Casa de Colón from the outside.
Shortly after, we will leave the urban center behind to head up to the Bandama Caldera and admire this impressive volcanic crater—1,000 meters in diameter and 200 meters deep—from its panoramic viewpoint.
The route will continue to the Viera y Clavijo Botanical Garden, which, spanning 23 hectares, is the largest in Spain, where you can stroll at your own pace among over 500 species of endemic Canarian flora.
You will walk alongside dragon trees, palm trees, and an extensive collection of plants representative of Macaronesia. The garden houses one of the largest and most complete collections of cacti, euphorbias, aloes, and agaves in Europe.
Finally, we will descend along the coastal avenue towards the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium area and the Las Arenas Shopping Center. You will have free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure, do some shopping, or stroll by the sea along the famous Las Canteras Beach.
