While it may not be a well-known activity, canyoning is one of the best ways to discover the island from a completely new perspective. Can you imagine descending a ravine or canyon, following the course of the water? This sport combines a series of exciting activities like walking, jumping, climbing, swimming, and rappelling, and of course, enjoying every second of the experience!
The areas for the activity vary by season, with each time of year offering a unique environment full of adventure and fun. Our team decides where you'll have the best time canyoning, depending on the time of year.
During the winter season, we head to the southwest of the island to descend ravines like Cañón del Águila, Barranco de la Manta, Mulato, or Barranco del Toro. Although this is one of the most arid areas of the island, these ravines are surprisingly the most flowing and, without a doubt, the most fun, with exciting jumps and natural slides that will make your adventure unforgettable.
During the summer season, we use the central and northern areas, such as the Barranco de los Cernícalos. This ravine stands out for its much greener and more forested environment, ideal for those seeking to connect with nature. While you won't find jumps or slides here, the beauty of the landscape more than makes up for it.
We go out in small groups of 2 to a maximum of 10 people per guide. Our employees are certified professionals, and the activity is carried out strictly following all safety regulations. No prior experience is necessary; you just need to know how to swim, be over 12 years old, and not have an excessive fear of heights or vertigo.
