Our first stop is the charming white village of Vejer, included in the prestigious list of the most beautiful towns in Spain. We will take a guided walking tour of its historic center to learn about its Arab and Christian past, a fusion of cultures that can still be seen walking through its beautiful whitewashed streets. We will pass through the ornate Plaza de España and the walls of Vejer, a vestige of ancient disputes between Andalusian territories and Christian kingdoms. In our second stop, we will visit the white town of Conil de la Frontera, known for its impressive beaches, lively historic center, gastronomy, and passion for tuna. Explore unique sites like La Chanca, a 16th-century military-style fortress built to store and protect the town's most important economic resource at the time: fishing. We will also visit the Torre de Guzmán el Bueno, a 14th-century emblem of the city. Originally part of a castle, it served the dual purpose of guarding and defending the coast, and helping fishermen spot tuna schools. We will depart around 1:30 p.m. and return to the different collection points.
