The excursion takes place in the northwest of the municipality of La Oliva and starts at one of the most iconic places on the island: a visit to the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park. This sea of golden sand, shaped by the wind, stretches along the Atlantic, creating a hypnotic landscape.
After crossing the desert, it is time to visit a volcano in Fuerteventura: Bayuyo. This volcanic formation is one of the highest points in the north of the island, and from its slopes, you get a spectacular panoramic view of the entire surroundings. The views, the colors of the earth, the silence... they give this part of the journey a special feeling.
The tour continues towards Majanicho, a small fishing village where charming white houses overlook the sea with delightful simplicity. It is a corner with soul, perfect for taking a breath and understanding the slow pace of this part of the island. A little further on, you will arrive at the Tostón Lighthouse, a historic lighthouse surrounded by black lava, salt pans, and the grandeur of the ocean.
We head next to the Natural Lakes of El Cotillo, where a long stop awaits you to swim, relax, or snorkel at one of the calmest beaches in Europe. La Concha Beach is famous for its crystal-clear water, light sand, and family atmosphere. Afterwards, dry and relaxed, it is time to lose yourself for a while in El Cotillo, a charming coastal village where you can have a bite to eat at your leisure or simply take a stroll.
Before concluding this adventure, you will make one last stop at an aloe vera farm, where you will learn everything about this medicinal plant, known as "the queen of the desert." Properties, uses, curiosities... A peaceful way to close a day in which you will have discovered the best of the north of the island.
